Overview
I conceptualized, proposed, and maintained a summer bulletin board for Seminaut Inc., an indie game studio based in San Marcos, Texas, during my summer break from UTSA. The blog posts, which utilized components of content writing, technical writing, and copywriting, served as a way for Seminaut to keep their audience informed on the development of a VR archery game called 'Arch Enemies.' My job was to involve Seminaut's audience in the technical processes by presenting them in a way readers could understand. In other words, I served as the liaison between developers and gamers.
The game development paused in the fall, and I resumed classes at UTSA. While these articles did not go live, it was a fun experience that provided me with valuable experience working with specialized technical professionals and bridging the gaps between them and the audiences for which they produce media.
I attached both of the blog posts I wrote for Seminaut below. You can find buttons that lead to a PDF version of each post at the bottom of this page.
